Lazy Brunch at Kai

Take it easy this weekend

Kai are already becoming well known for their range of freshly made sandwiches, vegan friendly treats, fresh salads and of course, the amazing Buddha Bowls. However, their all-day brunch offering is also turning heads as it is perfect for a lazy weekend morning treat. Towering stacks of pancakes, smothered in sauce and dressed with fresh fruit beckon, or if you're in the mood for something lighter, check out their range of vitamin packed muesli and fresh fruit smoothies.

Wakey Wakey, Eggs and Bakey!

We decided to nip in and try out their hot food menu. Kai offer a delicious selection of eggs - from the classic Eggs Benedict to a number of other twists on the theme, suitable for vegetarian diets by swapping out meat options for spinach. The more adventurous may wish to opt for the Shakshuka. You always need to make sure the classics are right though, so we stuck with the traditional offering. Chunky slices of toasted ciabatta are topped with poached eggs, a generous serving of crispy bacon and a well-balanced hollandaise with just the right mixture of creamy richness and zingy lemon freshness. Garnished with crunchy seeds it homely and delicious. Just the right dish for lazy mornings before you get your shopping on.

Relaxed cafe vibe throughout the day

Kai offers plenty to keep you coming back whatever the time of the day. The relaxed and cosy cafe is open late into the evening, with live music and DJs regularly appearing and a selection of craft beers available. You can also booze up your brunch with a bubbly fresh mimosa if you so choose, but their coffee is organic and flavourful and definitely does the job.
