November Events at St Martin's Square
29th October 2017
Winter is coming
The night's are drawing in and the clocks have gone back, but that's no excuse to hide away! There's still lots of exciting things to do at St Martin's Square. Whether you want to challenge your friends to make a daring escape at Escape Asylum, or head to Crafty Sew & So for a workshop to learn a new skill, there's always something happening to keep you occupied. On November 9th, Just Fairtrade will be holding a festive shopping evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm with the opportunity for relaxed browsing and complimentary wine and festive refreshments!
Exclusive pop-up bar at Cocoa Amore
The Urban Alchemist presents The Chocolate Cocktail club at Cocoa Amore will be coming soon - a chocolate inspired bar in our favourite chocolate shop. Details are yet to be released, so keep your eye on our social media channels to get all the news on this. If you prefer your chocolate without alcohol, you can continue to book Cocoa Amore's chocolate making workshops, where you can learn to roll your own truffles, create filled chocolates and enjoy sampling a delicious hot chocolate at the in store cafe. See the Cocoa Amore website also for details on their Chocolate Christmas Wreath workshops coming up in December.
Fantastic Cocktails and Delightful Gins
On 8th November, the Attic, on High Street, will be staging an Agave themed takeover at 33cankstreet. They will be bringing a special themed menu for you to enjoy in the evening, following on from an afternoon industry cocktail competition which the public are welcome to attend to watch. The next evening, 45 St Martin's will be staging 'Burleighs vs The World' - an evening of gin tasting pitting our very own local Leicestershire gin against a range of other gins from elsewhere in this country and beyond!
